Book Lite is a web-based job tracking platform designed to help users manage job applications efficiently and stay organized throughout their career journey. The objective was to create a simple, structured interface that allows users to track progress, set reminders, and monitor interview updates in one place.

To build a smart, easy-to-navigate system that simplifies job application management and empowers users to stay focused, informed, and confident during their job search.
Challenges Addressed
Through early research and usability reviews, several issues were identified that made the existing tracking process confusing and inefficient.
Scattered data flow: Users found it hard to maintain a clear record of applied jobs and follow-ups.
Lack of visual clarity: The dashboard didn't provide a quick overview of job statuses.
Minimal engagement: The interface failed to motivate users to update or revisit their progress.
Ineffective filters: Searching and sorting applications lacked precision and speed.
Design Approach
A methodical, user-centered approach was applied to ensure functionality, simplicity, and clarity were at the core of the design:
Research & insight gathering: Conducted surveys with job seekers to uncover workflow needs and frustrations.
Experience mapping: Defined user journeys for tracking, updating, and reviewing job progress.
Interface design: Created clean, card-based layouts with structured information hierarchy.
Testing & refinement: Validated usability througı edback loops and iteration cycles.
Design Concept
The concept highlights clarity, motivation, and productivity. A minimal color palette combined with subtle accent tones brings focus to progress tracking and upcoming tasks. Interactive visual indicators—such as progress bars and status tags—keep users aware of where they stand in their job search. The final design delivers a calm yet efficient environment that makes managing applications simple, engaging, and rewarding.
