Project Goal
To deliver a consistent, responsive, and intuitive banking experience that enhances usability, accessibility, and trust while strengthening PNB’s digital brand presence.
Challenges Addressed
During the redesign phase, several pain points and inconsistencies across platforms were identified that affected both functionality and user confidence.
Fragmented design system: The web and mobile versions lacked visual and functional consistency.
Complex user journeys: Core tasks like fund transfers and bill payments were not intuitive.
Poor visual hierarchy: Key actions and account summaries were buried under secondary details.
Limited responsiveness: The previous design didn't adapt effectively to different screen sizes.
Design Approach
A holistic and device-agnostic design approach was used to ensure smooth performance and visual alignment across platforms:
Experience audit: Reviewed existing interfaces to identify usability issues and interaction gaps.
Responsive grid planning: Structured layouts adaptable to laptop, tablet, and mobile dimensions.
Visual redesign: Introduced a refined color scher icon system, and typography for brand coherence.
Prototyping & validation: Built and tested responsive prototypes to ensure consistency and flow across
Design Concept
The concept emphasizes simplicity, consistency, and digital trust. The visual design uses PNB’s signature brand colors combined with modern gradients and clear typography to convey professionalism and warmth. Interactive elements were optimized for touch and click, ensuring fluid transitions between devices. The overall design delivers a polished, user-centered experience that makes banking both accessible and engaging—anytime, anywhere.
